2023 Berkley Team Series District 11 Championship
The District 11 Berkley Classic Series District 11 Championship Presented by Realtree Fishing kicked off in Grafton Illinois on Thursday night thanks to our Host the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism office. After Jason Troop welcomed our anglers to town we enjoyed some pulled pork, baked bean and potatoe salad before FOM National Director brought a message from Mark Chapter 2. 3 anglers indicated that they trusted The Lord at the meeting so we rejoice with them,
Saturday morning dawned cool and clear as the 21 boats left the Grafton Harbor boat launch to try their hands on The mighty Mississippi and Illinois Rivers and backwaters. As always somebody figures them out.
Leading the pack was the team of Randy Miller & Andy Wegner who brought a nice 5 fish limit to the scales weighing 9.62 lbs
In second is the team of Kale Snyder and Conner Jones who brought another solid limitin weighing 9.20 lbs
Sitting in 3rd after day 1 is the team of Glenn and Mark Bates with 8.04 lbs
in 4th sits the team of Lance Freeman and Jaxson Freeman with 7.60 lbs
Rounding our the Top 5 is the team of Jerry & Grant Olsen with 6.85 lbs
Day 1 Big Fish winners were Debbie and Marlon Brown with a nice 3.05 lber.
