What a beautiful day we had. We had 8 teams entered with 7 teams able to fish. Old Hickory still has plenty of 10 to 13 1/4 inch fish. Finding the bigger fish is always a challenge. Ford and Brad Bowen took 1st place with 5 fish weighing 9.56 pounds. 2nd place was Trent Farley and Trey Sneed with 5 fish weighing 7.68 pounds. 3rd place was Samuel and David Hanson with 3 fish weighing 5.47 pounds. Big fish went to Dayton and Carl Heflin with a largemouth weighing 3.72 pounds.
After lunch, my wife Rosie and my granddaughter Ellie (also photographer) brought us lunch to enjoy together. Big thanks for the help. Then we had a devotional talking about it not being too young to begin reading the Bible. How being young can be very useful for God. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
