GREENWOOD tx was on 3/14/2026 and we had 16 Teams trying to find that happy couple in the lake.
Meeting on the Water
The morning was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed the dry, no wind conditions as we set up shop on the docks for our ON THE WATER meeting. Steve Cox, SC Upstate Chaplain led us into a time of worship and reflection as he dove into a not so familiar bible verse: Zephania 3:17. This verse reminds us how the LORD is with us and while delighting in us he is showing us his love. Sometimes we go thorugh our daily routines and forget to acknowledge our Lord and Savior is walking through every moment with us. Its only when we abiding in a personal relationship with Christ that we truly find peace.
Steve took us down memory lane on a couple of stories about fishing in "Lake X" with his boys in Minessota. Its during those times in our life that we build the bonds that carry us thorugh the mountain top experiences and more importantly the vallies that we go through. We all need to find that kind of peace, and Christ made that possible on the Cross.

Tournament Info
While the morning was cool, it didn't take long for spring time to join us. We learned that the big bags were taken from those fish that were also excited about the worming temps. Things certanly heated up. A few teams figured out how to find the good ones.

Big fish went out to TALLIS MORRISON and CALEB MASON with a 7.33 lb beauty.
