How time flies! Tournament number 6 is already over. We started out on Friday evening at the ramp pavilion with Terry Hayden and Brian Butler grilling pork loin. My wife Rosie had baked potatoes and macaroni and cheese prepared. Thanks to all for a great dinner! Then our chaplain Brian Butler shared a devotional with us. He talked about great people. How the world looks at political leaders, athletes, successful businesses people, wealthy individuals,etc. as great. Then he talked about how believers in Jesus are great. How believers in Jesus have such a strong impact on others through the relationship they have with Jesus being seen in their lives. He shared Phlipians 2 how Jesus is Lord. He also shared Mathew 18:4 how humbling yourself is great in the kingdom of God. Mathew 20:27 how great people must serve. Thanks for these encouraging words and all you do for Fishers of Men.

Saturday came with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. God blessed us with a beautiful day, no storms and very little rain. Old Hickory still has plenty of small bass. Anytime you can win with this group with under 14 pounds, you know the bigger fish are not biting very much. Rusty Rush and Robert Henze took 1st with 13.98 pounds, Wesley and Payton Hayes took 2nd with 13.32 and big fish at 5.43 with 3rd going to Ben and Nick Hite with 12.95. Division points, Heavist stringer, and Big bass for the year all went to Wesley and Payton Hayes. What a fonominal year they had! Big thanks to all that fished with us this year.
