This was our 5th and final points tournament of the year for Fishers of Men Virginia West. The tournament at lake Moomaw started Friday evening at Covington Bible Church. Thanks to the Church Ladies for making a wonderful meal for us! They always treat us so well, and thanks to the Covington Bible Church for letting us use thier facilities! During the meeting we learned that there is no way to heaven except through Jesus Christ. We can not earn it from good works as it is only through God's grace.So each of us needs to receive it! Well the tournament blasted off in damp and cloudy weather. It rained most of the day so it was a damp day but thankfully we missed the storms they forecasted. At the end of the tournament the team of Matt Atkins and Mathew Foster won the tournament with 14.46, a great bag on a very tough lake. They also won big fish with 3.09 and won a Extra $2000 from RockOutdoors for winning the points championship. Congratulations on a great year! In 2nd Place was the team of Johathan Jonathan Bailey and Brian Mann with a good bag of 11.55. In third place was the team of John Aliff and Thomas Aliff with 11.49. In Fourth and winning a pair of SML TackleShack gift certificates was the team of Anthony Dillon.
