Hello Folks,
We are a week out on starting our 2026 season for Fishers of Men VA east Legacy. Looking forward to seeing everybody and getting our season started> Ready for this winter weather to leave!!!
Our schedule is up on the website www.FOMNTT . we are experiencing a issue in loading the details for the meeting , however we are working on that now. With that being said , I am sharing on my personal Facebook and also Our VA east Legacy Facebook page . Hopefully we can get the web page figured out quickly .
For our first derby Hebron Baptist Church is graciously hosting our meeting again this year . Special Thanks to Paster John Hodgen and his church members.
The meeting will be at 6431 Courthouse Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22551 Friday March 27,2026. The doors will open 5:30 for registration and meal served 6 to 6:15 along with a great message and fellowship.
John and his team always go above and beyond for our opening derby !!!
One note for this year for our boaters our National office is requiring a copy of your boater safety card and copy of insurance , This is due to last years accident in another trail.
Also make sure you join the membership on line at the top of the page . Again the youth does not require a membership only the adult. If the adult has joined with the Team series you are good for the Legacy trail .
Please call you buddies that may not have Facebook and invite them to fish with us. A great way to spend some time with our youth.
We will launch Saturday at Sturgeon Creek Marina safe light. Weigh in will be 1300 hrs or 1:00p.m. at the weigh station . This will be a trailered weigh in .
