Disclosure: We are new to leading and ask for your grace and your assistance as we make mistakes (and hopefully learn from them!). Your suggestions to improve are not only requested, but they are also welcome. Our desire is to glorify God in all that we do and it is our hope that you will help us to be the best that we can be to serve this purpose.

Mandatory Pre-Tournament Meeting:

Location:	Town of Cape Vincent Rec Park, 602 S James St, Cape Vincent, NY 13618
Details:	One member of each team must attend the meeting unless special permission is given by the director All can attend the meeting, even if you do not sign up to fish in the tournament Feel free to bring your family and friends to this event, we just ask that you please let us know how many will be attending so we can ensure that there is enough food for everyone. Please indicate your interest on our Facebook Event. Important information is provided about the tournament and future events. Attendance is a big part of the club and worth 50 points if one member of the team stays until the end of the meeting. Launch order will be randomly assigned for all teams that attend the meeting. Those that have signed up, but do not attend, will be randomly assigned the remaining launch positions. All that attend and fill out a commitment card will be entered into a door prize drawing Each person in attendance can participate in the 50/50 raffle. 50% of the proceeds will be paid out to the winner and the other 50% will be given to the facilitator of the meeting.

Tournament Details:

(NEW for 2026) Integrity Requirements: A metal detector wand will be used for each catch and each participant may be subject to a lie detector test. The director reserves the right to refuse entry to any person and/or team at their sole discretion.

Practice / Off Limits:	(NEW for 2026) The tournament waters will be off-limits the week preceding each points tournament with the exception of 2 official practice days of your choice before the tournament.
Cost:	Payments are accepted by Credit or Debit Card, Cash, Check, Zelle (FishersofMenNY.North@gmail.com), or Venmo (@FOM-NY-North) (NEW for 2026) Downpayment: A $150 good-faith deposit must be paid by any new member who has not participated in at least three prior Fishers of Men Points Tournaments (in any state). The deposit can be claimed in $50 increments from the cost of three points tournaments that the new member participates in. Remaining deposit funds are forfeit for the new member that does not participate in a minimum of 3 points tournaments this season.
