What an incredible time we had this weekend, It all started at Burleson Country Cowboy Church where anglers and their family members enjoyed gumbo, stew, cornbread and ice cream, followed by a great message, a raffle and tournament rules and details.
Saturday we launched boats out of Over Look Park during calm and peaceful weather, which did not last very long at all. By 10:30am the winds blew, the temps dropped and some rain fell. the temps dropped drastically and anglers experienced the chill for the rest of the day. Father/Son team of Jimmy & Newly Bennett brought in 1 fish, but it was enough to take 1st place.
Thank you to all the teams who participated and special thanks to Texas Central Tournament Director, Will Eller for all the behind the scenes work to help us get this new division off the ground.
