Our Friday night meeting was held at the Beach Pavillion at Lake Guntersville State Park. We were served a meal by St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of BBQ, baked beans, slaw, and potatoe salad with cookies for dessert. Bro. Ricky Phifer brought the devotion. We had 42 teams registered for the tournament. It was a little windy at the meeting but the Saturday tournament weather was looking sunny but still breezy.
Saturday was sunny, but still a little windy. Teams were looking forward to a good day of fishing. Our top finishers were:
1. Tim Van Polen and Kathy Van Polen with 19.58 pounds
2. Andrew Lambert and Lacey Lambert with 19.28 pounds
3. Tevan Lankster and Ethan Springer with 18.66 pounds
4. Bill Benford and Mike Gilley with 16.99 pounds
5. Jason Lamb and Larry Couey with 15.85 pounds
6. Nick Reeves and Andrew Hamiltion with 15.56 pounds
7. Jeff Surratt and David Surratt with 15.3 pounds
8. David Potts and Troy Potts with 14.32 pounds
The big fish was caught by Ricky Burgreen and Jackson Burgreen, weighing 6.43 pounds.
Our next tournament will be on Pickwick Lake on 4/20/19. Our Friday night meeting will be held at First Baptist Colbert Heights. The address is 6000 Woodmont Drive, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
