Our third tournament of the year was held in Lake Verret at Bayside Tackle Landing. Despite the high water conditions we had 30 boats!!  Our meeting was held at the Pierr Part Christian Center in Pierre Part. We had pastalaya, white beans and bread. Our message was given by assistant director Winston Michel. The message was based on remembering that God is in control and to keep him first in all we do!

The tournament began with prayer led by Winston Michel. The water was much higher than normal, but there were plenty of limits caught. 1st place and big bass went to Tom and TJ Goins with a weight of 14.79 lbs. anchored with a 4.45lb kicker, 2nd place and went to Alex Perret and Cary Beard with a weight of 14.41 lbs., 3rd place went to Steve Fontana and Brad Bouy with a weight of 14.39 lbs., 4th place went to Jeff McMorris and Beau Fitch with a weight of 14.26 lbs., 5th place went to Chris Cordell and Byron Keith with a weight of 14.24 lbs., 6th place went to Willie and Warren Couch with a weight of 12.58 lbs.

We want to thank 23^rd Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin for sponsoring the meal for our Friday night meeting. We also want to thank Tina Cavalier and Tyler Cavalier for helping prepare the food.
