We had a great weekend at beautiful Lake Hickory!  Our first-time hosts, The Hickory Church of Christ, did an awesome job including nifty fishing-themed table decorations and putting out names up in lights on their big sign out front.  preacher Kevin Bibbee shared a thought-provoking message on prioritizing what matters in life to God.

Fishing conditions, however, were somewhat hampered by unseasonably hot weather.  Billy Wright and Grant McPeters took first place with a bag totalling just over 13 pounds.  Junior Royal and Brian Dancy placed second with 11.78 pounds. Andy Greene and Travis Dotson weighed in 10.71 pounds and, in fourth, David Anderson and Chad Evans had 10.33.  Big Fish went to Smith Rar with a 5.18 largemouth.

From here, we wrap up the season at Hager Creek landing on beautiful Lake Norman on June 8.  See everybody there!
