Our meeting was at Radford Baptist Church and Rick Magee gave a great message to encourage the men and fathers to step up as mentors for the young folks of the new generation as to train them up to be christians and the next generation to be followers of Jesus.

We had 17 teams signed up for the first tournament of the season. After our national anthem and prayer we blasted off at safe light and at the end of the day we had a winner being Joe Wilkerson and Wyatt Bathis with a weight of 19.56lbs and a kicker of 5.97lbs which was the big fish of the tournament. These two fished for bedding bass on the lower end of the lake to accumulate the weight they brought to weigh in.

2nd place went to Richard Alley and Kolten Parrish with a weight of 16.63lbs

3rd went to Kenneth Shumate and Daniel Shumate with a weight of 11.68lbs

4th went to David Martin adn Colten Martin with a weight of 10.76lbs.

5th went to John Simmons and John Simmons IV with a weight of 10.35lbs.

Just out of the money winners were Danny Washburn and Matthew King with a weight of 8.1lbs.

Our next tournament is at Phillpott Lake.
