Does fear drive you? Media bias, chips inserted in your skin, COVID19, Facebook gossip and other social sites are just a few of the dangers touched on. That was the topic of the devotional given by our director. But our God is bigger and stronger. The victory is already won. He has given us all we need to live abundant lives free of senseless fear if we only trust Him to lead the way.
The weather was nice with a cool breeze at the top of the morning. Spirits were high! Our youth anglers were eager to get out on the water. The heat showed up around noon and affected our teams luck! 50 of 51 fish were released alive. First place and first bonus bucks went to the team of Harrell/Harrell with 11.99 lbs. including big fish weighing in at 4.51 lbs. Second place and second bonus bucks went to the team of Owen/Markham with 10.39 lbs. Third place and third Bonus Bucks went to the team of Hopper/Hopper with 9.87 lbs. Fourth place went to the team of Griggs/Griggs with 9.21 lbs. Rounding out our winners at fifth place was the team of Hilyer/Hilyer with 8.54 lbs. “For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgement.” 2 Timothy 1:7

And last, but not least, our faithful volunteers: Jim Browder, Laurie Murse, and Walt & Pat Higgins.
