French & Poplin Drop the Hammer on Santee with 31.50 lbs!

The SC Lowcountry Division held their 2nd Tournament of the year on Santee. Due to Covid the event kicked off Saturday morning with our devotion led by Jason Byrnes. Jason shared about how we sacrifice for small things like a Fishing Tournament but are sometimes unwilling to make sacrifices for Big things like our faith. He relayed how Christ made the ultimate sacrifice for us on the Cross!

Conditions on Santee are heating up and with a full moon you just know that somebody was going to bust a BIG Bag and as usual Santee did not dissapoint!

Leading the charge were 2020 Points Champs Marshall French and Tripp Poplin who dropped a massive 31.50 lb bag on the scales which included the days Big Bass at 8.73 lbs. Altogether they took home over $3,600 for their win!

Finishing a strong 2nd with 27.62 lbs was the team of Darrel Shull and James Vining who earned over $1,700

Coming in 3rd was the team of Mike Watson & Craig McFadden who weighed 24.14 lbs and took hom over $1,100

In 4th place were Henry McFadden and Jeff Cantey with 21.20 lbs 

Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Bryan Cook and Steve Harmon with 17.85 lbs
