We have just finished up the 4th tournament of the 2021 season on Barren River Lake.  We started the weekend off at Immanual Baptist Church.  They greated us with some pulled pork, pork shoulder, and all the fixings.  After dinner, we heard some great music from Immanuals praise team and Jeremy Atwood interviewed guitarist Greg Martin from the Kentucky Headhunters.  We got to hear about Greg's rise to fame and how his growing faith meant more to him than his fame with the band.  Saturday morning all 28 teams blasted off in hopes of coming back to the scales with the winning limit of bass.  Jeff and John Carman lead the points coming into this tournament but there was a few teams nipping at their heals.  Jared Carpenter and Brian Ross had the winning weight of 13.39lbs.  They caught fish early on spinnerbaits but changed to flipping when the sun came up.  In second place with 12.49lbs. was Billy Duncan and Leroy Gosser.  They caught all their fish using a black and blue pit boss with 1/4 oz. weight.  They said their fish wanted a bait with a slow fall to trigger their bite.  In third place flipping brush hogs was the team of Wilcher and Stomberger with a weight of 12.19lbs.  After the dust settled and all the points are tallied.  The Carman brothers have some company one again in first place.  Jeff and John are tied with Billy Duncan and Leroy Gosser.  This is the third tie that we have had this season for the points lead, and the top few teams have a legitimate chance to be crowned 2021 points champions.  Do not miss the excitement when we end the season on Green River Lake.
