Randy Weddington and Ronnie Smith take first place and $4,000 at Lake Tillery. Their winning weight of 19.65 lbs. was highlighted with a 7.39 lb. big fish of the tournament.

We blasted off 47 boats Saturday and were blessed with nice weather again. The water was cold and a little muddy. The word was out that it was going to be a very tough day and tough it was with only seven limits brought to the scales. The team of Randy Weddington and Ronnie Smith was one of a few teams to get it figured out and brought in 19.65 lbs. and the Big Fish of the tournament 7.39 lbs to take home 1st place and $4,000. 2nd place went to Brian File and Brandon Gardner with 17.24 lbs. and winnings of $1255. 3rd place went to Robert Mixon and Robert Lambert with 16.11 lbs. and winnings of $870. Rounding out the teams in the money was 4th place Todd Harris and Chris Brown with 13.58 lbs. 5th place went to Chad Poteat and Maurice Freeze with 13.44 lbs. 6th place went to Shawn Williams and Curtis Cox with 12.02 lbs. 7th place went to Glenn Sparrow and Chris Baumgardner with 11.56 lbs. 8th place went to Dusty Taylor and Nicholas Williams with 10.06 lbs. 9th place went to Neil and Josh Preslar with 9.95 lbs.
If we were giving out a sportsmanship award it would go to the team of Alan Griffin and Kevin Chandler who weighed in 14.88 lbs. but because of boat trouble they were 5 minutes late and accessed a 5 lb. penalty. Alan and Kevin showed great sportsmanship with this untimely boat problem. Also want to give a shout out to fellow angler Michael Davis who took the time to go back and get Alan and Kevin with their catch.
Robert Lambert won the Rock Outdoors $250 bonus for the highest place finish in a Rock Outdoor purchased boat.
Brice Hollis and Jody Moore won the team out of the money drawing from the Norman tournament. Free entry into a tournament.
Gary Thurman won the Rock Outdoor Legends Bonus from the Norman tournament.
