The weather was perfect for the NC Piedmont final regular season tournament. There was a lot of fish caught, but not as many big fish that we usually see at Badin. With that being said the team of Anthony Brooks and Cameron Andrews had no problem with big fish. They brought 23.41 lbs. to the scales topped off with a 6.30 lb. Big Fish of the tournament to take 1st place and almost $4,000. 2nd place went to the team of Steve Summer and Jason Thomas with 15.86 lbs. and winnings of $1,285. 3rd place was a tie between the teams of Randy Weddington & Ronnie Smith and Michael Cribb & Joe Bullard. They each brought in 15.30 lbs. and took home winnings of over $500 each. Rounding out the teams in the money was 5th place Dusty Taylor & Nick Williams with 14.66 lbs. 6th place Todd Harris & Chris Brown with 13.62 lbs. 7th place went to Chris Coble & Jim Long with 13.51 lbs. Mark and Audrey Bayse brought in 13.47 lbs. for 8th place. 9th Place went to Ray Furr & Dean Lambeth with 13.40 lbs. 10th place went to Tony Foster & Steve Sink with 13.21 lbs.
Jason Thomas won the Rock Outdoors $250 bonus for the highest place finish in a Rock Outdoor purchased boat.
Smith Ray won the $50 Youth Bonus from our Tuckertown and Badin tournament.
Robert Branson and Andrew Wilson won the team out of the money drawing $150 cash.
Ronnie White won the Rock Outdoor Legends Bonus.
