What a beautiful day we were blessed with on Saturday. Friday night meeting outdoors was wonderfull. Crossroads Church hosted meal and meeting. Paster Tim Fry delivered the message. He remembered his cousin Steve Wakefield for his work with Fishers of Men. He reminded us how JESUS told Peter to cast his net on the other side of the boat after fishing all night with no catch. Then the nets were so full they begain to brake. He also reminded us how in our youth we think we know so much but no so little. As we go through life he also stated we need to turn it over to HIM. No mater how bad it gets. GOD is and always will be the answer. Big thanks to Crossroads for continuing to be a part of our group.
Saturday we blased of 24 teams in search of thoose bass to bring back to weigh in. Lot of fish were biting but most were on the smaller size. 1st place went to Steve & Chad Sentell with 13.91, 2nd went to Terry Hayden & Harry Smith with 12.87, 3rd went to Hunter Alsup & sub Justin Yates with 10.95, 4th went to Robert Brownlee & Kent McA fee with 10.67, and 5th went to Craig Muller & David Prentice with 10.31. Terry Hayden & Harry Smith had big fish with a 4.95 large mouth.
Special thanks to all of our teams for doing a wounderful job keeping the fish alive. So far we have had no dead fish after 4 tournaments. Point race is starting to get interesting. Having 6 tournaments and using best 5 for points is looking like it will go down to the last tournament.
