What a beautiful day we were blessed with on Saturday! It was preceeded by a great Friday evening witharound 35 people at our meeting. SMR hosted our location and meal with Jeff Hollingshead giving a very great moving message. He told us how we get on "THE LONG WAY" in life. His example was how God lead his people for so long when they left Egypt. He reminded us the words Be still and know I am God. Then he gave us a personial event that happened last year in his life when he almost lost his 3 year old son. No way I can decribe how hart moving, sad,  thankful, life changing these real life words were. Thanks Jeff or a GREAT message.

Saturday morning we had 24 teams at first light to head out. Water temp had moved up in the low to mid 80,s and for the most part seemed to move the fish out in deeper water. There were several nice fish cought with 11 limits brought to the scales. The team of Jeremy Ethridge & Jay Melton won with 16.63, 2nd was Chad Fulghum & Tad Jenkins with 16.38, 3rd was Robert Brownlee & Kent McAfee with 14.05, 4th was Steve & Chad Sentell with 13.67, 5th was Mike Hollingshead & Johnny Mitchell with 13.45. Big fish was Barry & Barry Mcentire with a 4.96 largemouth.
