Event #2 at Lake Springfield is in the books. 18 Boats entered the tournament on a warm and partly cloudy late spring day with a light breeze and temps in the upper 70’s. As the weigh in began at 2:00PM there weren’t many limits brought to the scales as some only had 2,3, or 4 fish. But slowly the limits started to show up and the weights started to go up, then in rode the “Young Guns” from up north Paul Paskevicius and Matteo Turano that would put fish the field with a limit weighing 16.15lbs taking 1st Place money of $1,306.00  and Plaques. Congratulations Paul Matteo on a great win! 2nd Place was the Male/Female team of Brian and Lauri Lopp with a limit weighing 13.96 lbs. earning them $768.00.
3rd Place was the team of Corey Bohlmann and Alex Nail with 13.74 lbs earning them $476.00. The $500 Scheels Big Bass Award was won by Michael Rasmussen with a largemouth weighing 4.13lbs.
