Event #4 is in the books. What a beautiful day it was today with temps in 60’s to start the day and high around 80 with light winds. 21 teams set out to catch the winning bag and usually the fishing is so good many teams have limits, however that would not hold true today. Only 5 limits were brought to the scales. Last months winning team of Jim Dietel and Kerry-Michelle Malone did it again with 14.80 lbs. They earned $14,01.50 Second Place was the team of Dave Whalen and Annrika Dithen with 13.62 lbs including the Big Bass of the event with a largemouth weighing 4.42 lbs. This earned them the $500 Scheels Big Bass Award. They earned a total of $1,137.00 Third Place was the team Herb Rush and Zach Pierce with 13.24 lbs. earning them $591.50. Fourth Place was Pat Cravens and Joe Digiavonna with 12.89 lbs. and the final payout spot was $321.00. After the weigh the anglers were treated to some locally grown beef burgers supplied by our friend Luke Wheeler. Everyone loved the meal.
