SC Lowcountry kicked off our 2022 season Friday night at Chapin United Methodist Church where our 39 teams enjoyed Pizza, good fellowship and a great message from FOM Board member Bobby Jackson. After the restrictions of last year it was great to see all the guys back together having a good time.

Saturdays weather conditions were challenging to say the list. With a 28 degree start which saw some of our anglers driving through snow to get here, our anglers faced water temps in the mid to upper 40's and northwest winds from 10-20 with gust even higher.

Somebody always figures them out and today it was the team of Ross Burns & Briggs Kennington who brought a great limit of 22.52 lbs to the scales to collect winnings totaling over $3100!

Finishing 2nd was the always tough team of Tommy Williams and Thomas Hardwick who brought 21.89 lbs to the scales including a really cool looking bass which must have been some cross between a largemouth/smallmouth/goldfish! Check out the fins in the pic. They collected checks totaling over $1450

Coming in 3rd was the father/son team of Justen and Ty Fain who made their annual trip from Ohio pay off a bag of 20.35 for over $1100 in winnings.

4th place went to Kevin Richbourg and Mike Williams who had 17.01 lbs

Rouding out the top 5 was the team of Terry Thomas and David Kneece who brought 16.62 lbs to the scales.

Clay Riddle and Chris Dorlan had the Big Fish at 6.61 lbs

Hope to see you Mar 5th on Santee where there will most likely be some Monster Bags caught. We will not be having a Friday night meeting at this one as I'll be working our booth at the BassMasters Classic in Greenville on Friday!
