Pastor Jason Mccray and the men at the Warsaw Bible Church provided a great BBQ meal and message on Friday night! I would say that it was way better than the fishing on Truman for most! The lake was about 10 feet high with water temps in the low 70's, the day started out with high clear blue bird skies that remained for most of the day, with light clouds moving in around 1:00pm, the wind blew slightly 5-10mph all day. PJ & Richard Gentry brought 5 to the scales with a big bass of 3.16lbs totaling 12.53lbs for the WIN, flippin a black / blue jig in the flooded brush down in the Osage Bluff area. Rudy & Caden Reyes also managed 5 keepers for 12.45lbs, Tony & Fisher Mayfield had 5 for 11.32lbs to finish in the number 3 spot. Other methods used were jerk baits, Ned rig, tubes and top water poppers all in the Osage, Dam and Tebo area of the lake. Van and Alan Hayward, another father /son team brought the BIG BASS of the day to the scale, 3.54lbs, caught flippin a tube around the flooded brusch.
Our next an LAST regular event for 2022 will be on 6/18/22 on Stockton lake! The Points race in tight! Hope to see you there!
