We had a great kick off to our first FOM pre-tournament meeting at Central Baptist Church of Henderson,NC with  Associate Pastor, Allen Mustian. Allen spoke on the storm in Mark 4:35-41 where the disciples and Jesus (sleeping)  were on the water.

They thought they were about to die. They woke him up and said "teacher, don't you care that we are about to die?"
He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea "Peace be still" the wind ceased and there was great calm.
They said who is this that even the wind and the sea obey him.
Allen asked"Is Jesus in your boat?"
"Who is Jesus to you?"
The gospel message was clearly presented and 2 received Jesus as their Savior and 5 rededicated their lives back to the Lord.Praise God!
that's what we're all about, telling people what Jesus can do for them.We woke up to a cold day and
due to a windy forecast our tournament was shortened to 1pm. We couldn't put out all our banners and tents because of the wind. We even set up the weigh in scales inside the trailer. Thank God all 21 boats got in safely. Money Concepts, David and Kyle Hackney we're our local sponsors. We appreciate everything they do to support Fishers of Men.
