Results

Our Friday Night meeting was held at Trinity Baptist Church of Keystone Heights. The anglers arrived at the church at 6:00pm and were welcomed by the staff and the registration began. Once registration was complete, Chaplain Montonye prayed over the food and Pastor Clay blessed the anglers with some amazing BBQ, staff members Alley Moyer and Amanda Cardwell provided the sides and the anglers were filled to the full. Our guest speaker, Mr. Hunter Davis, shared his testimony and delivered an encouraging message that challenged us all. We conducted the rules review, drew the launch assignments, prayed over the anglers and allowed them to depart for the day to finalize preparations for the tournament.

Saturday morning the anglers were greeted at the boat ramp by the director and livewells were checked. Once the anglers got their boats into the water, the anglers idled out to the mouth of the canal and AD Jesse Cardwell reviewed the rules, prayed over the anglers and prepared them for launch. Volunteer call boat, Angler Brad Winnings, called boat numbers at safelight, 0615, sending the angelrs out on their quest to become the Santa Fe Slugger!

High blue bird skies and a light wind met the anglers on the water, but only one would become the Santa Fe Slugger!

Congratulations to our stop number four winners on lake Santa Fe Cody Morgan and Brant Langley. Cody and Brant had a nice bag of 21.19lbs and also had the big fish of the tournament with a 6.38 kicker. Second place went to the team of Justin Bythwood and Patrick Pierce, our current points leaders, with a nice bag of 19.89 pounds with a 5.79 kicker. Third place went to the team of Gerald Boyd and James Williams catapulting them into second place in the points chase with a bag of 14.94 with a 5.71 kicker. Brad Winnings and Stan Williams came in fourth with a bag of 12.97 pounds with the team of Billy Taylor and Dusty McDevitt hot on their heels with a 12.70 bag. The points chase is heating up with one stop left on the land of the giants… Orange Lake! Tune in May 31st as we crown our 2025 Champions!
