We had a wonderful time together at Bible Baptist Church celebrating the life of  Ron Duffy as he lived serving Christ Jesus and all of you fishermen.
Thank you, Church for helping us honor God, through Ron's life and serving us with such a great meal.
Pastor Jimmy Hall give us a challenge to memorize scripture by taking a portion and reading it everyday and then building upon it to add and rotate to new.
Some that is precious to him is taken from Titus 2:11-14.
God's grace appeared to all men and we are without excuse.You are not here by accident. Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.He also challenged us believers by telling us to get the focus off ourselves and onto Jesus.We're to be reflecting Christ in our daily walk and ask if there would be enough proof in a court of law to prove you are a Christian. Thank you brother for this message and challenges.
We unveiled a memorial sticker dedicated to our late Director Ron Duffy and played Ron's favorite hymn, Victory in Jesus  at our weigh in.We certainly miss Ron and pray for Ms Sally as she grieves.

Sally Duffy made a special donation of $500 in honor of her husband. Ron had said  many times that he wished the older guys could win. So we took the age of 60 plus   and added their age to the lbs of fish they caught and that would be the winners of the monies she donated.Plus, we added $100.
I know Ron's smiling right now if the Lord is letting him see this .Congratulations! ???? 1st place David Hackney,  2nd place Sam Fisher and Terry Hobbs and Tony Barham tied for 3rd place
Sometimes it pays being OLD,??

The day started off in the mid '50s sunny ??? and beautiful .There were a lot of good bags caught today.
We had 22 boats signed up and our Total payout was  $4875.00


Congratulations goes to our
1st place ?? winners Clay Ausley and Ken McNeill with a 23.09 lb bag
They also won 1st place bonus bucks  with a grand total of $ 2,037.50.00 payout.

2nd place ??goes to Jesse Wise and Josh Ballard with a 22.49 lb bag, they also won 2nd place bonus bucks with a payout of $837.50

3rd place goes to Chris Glosson and JD Talley with a 20.71 lb bag, they also won 3rd place bonus bucks with a payout of $525.00

Big Bass  ?? goes to Preston  Lamm weighing 7.22 lbs which won him a gift certificate from Interstate Batteries for $250 and the Big fish check $110.00

4th place  goes to Tom Saywell and Scott Larkey with a 19.61 lb bag.

5th place bulletin board cash goes to Jeremy Moody and Lucas Lobaugh with a 19.57 lb bag.

6th place bulletin board cash goes to David Hubbard and David Hubbard Jr with a 16.62 lb bag

7th place bulletin board cash goes to David Hackney and Joel Lloyd with a 16.09 lb bag

8th place  goes to Preston Lamm and Alton Lamm with a 15.34 lb bag.

9th place  goes to Tony Barham and Terry Hobbs with a 13.66 lb bag

10th place goes to Pete Shandrick and  Trey Thompson with a 13.44 lb bag

Any team that has fished 4 of our tournaments is eligible to fish our championship on June 28th. Lake will be announced at the Friday night meeting, on June 27th New Hope Alliance Church 2642 old Fairground road Angier ,N.C. 27501
