Jordan and Smith win Cherokee with 19.88 pounds of largemouth!

Friday Night Meeting was at First Baptist Church of Dandridge once again this year. Cory Hammett cooked us a great meal all by himself again this year.  After everyone had plenty of great food, Doctor Jones delivered a heart filled message where we had one person recommit to Jesus.

Saturday Morning came with unseasonable cool of 36 degrees and light winds, but this did not cool off the hot team of Brian Jordan and Michael Smith from blowing away with field with 19.88 pounds of largemouth bass.  This heavy bag also included the lunker of the tournament a beautiful 5.36 lbs. largemouth bass.  This team reported running their Mercury all around the lower to mid-section of the catch their fish on many different lures.  This team is sponsored by White Pine Marine, Mercury Outboards, Phoenix Boats, Dixie Custom Rods, and Tackle Tote-Rite and most of all Jesus.

Second place was Chris Sexton who fished by himself, his son Mason decided to go turkey hunting instead, which was probably a mistake.  Because at weigh-in time he came to the scales with 5 fish for 13.63 pounds.  Chris reported using several different lures on the lower to mid-section of the lake.

Third place was Eugene Randolph and Andrew Wright this newly formed team stayed on the lower end of the lake to bring back 5 fish weighing in at 12.99 pounds. 

Fourth place went to the team of Jason White and David Burgess.  This talent team reported using A-rig Carolina-rig and flipping to entice the bass.  At the end of the day, they returned with 5 fish weighing in at 12.98 pounds.

Fifth Place went to team of Ken Sexton and Bill Humbard.  Ken is the owner of White Pine Marine and Bill is his son-in-law.  This team reported running the Mercury Outboard all around the lower end to catch 12.72 pounds of bass on many different lures.
