The 4th tournament of the 2025 season was held out of Anchor Marina. The weather was finally not windy! Showers moved through during the morning but launch and weigh in experienced beautiful conditions. 15 teams fished the event.
Shawn Skobel and Gary Crayton topped the 20 lb. mark again with a winning bag of 20.01 lbs anchored by a 4.96 lb toad. Shawn Ramey and Evan Roache placed second with 18.34 lbs and the John Fillmore Big Bass of 5.65 lbs. Division Chaplain Paul Wiley and Jon Crans weighed a solid 17.20 lbs. for 3rd place. Jacob Vandevander and Dylan Otte continued a very consistent year by weighing 16.73 lbs. Tom and Jimmy brought in 16.70 lbs. for fifth place. Rob Hager and Thomas Bennett weighed a limit for 15.06 lbs. for sixth. Sean Peddicord and Lonell Merchant brought in 13.72 lbs. for seventh.
Jody Werner fished with his grandson Jacob Haug as a sub and brought in 3 fish for 6.51. Joe Johnson fished the event with brother Jami Johnson as a sub and brought in a limit for 10.31 lbs. We missed Jeff Pelkey and Ian Godwin following the damage incident from the last Potomac event.
After 4 tournaments, Shawn and Gary are leading the pack by 4 points. The standings are tight behind them with Paul and Jon in second place by 4 points, and Jacob and Dylan only one point behind them. The teams of Shawn and Evan and Tom and Jimmy are lurking closely behind with one event remaining.
