The Paul Menschner State Farm tournament at SML is in the books.

The weekend started with our Friday meeting at Palestine Baptist Church in Huddleston, VA.  Palestine Baptist fixed us smoaked tenderlion,homemade meatloaf homemade vegetables with rolls and cookies! Thanks again Palestine Baptist for all you do! The message was brought by Paul Menschner wo encouraged us as beleivers to live a life pleasing to the Lord and free from sin.

The tournament started much cooler and damper than the weatherman said ,and that seemed to realy slow the bite down more than normal. We blasted off at 7:00 am and at the end of the day the team of Todd Langford and THomas Harden brought home the winning bag of 18.21.They also won a $500 gift card for winning while wearing Rock Outdoors  apparel.  Congratulations! Finishing in second with a bag of 17.2 was the team of Jared Sowers and Kevin Allison. They also had big fish of 5.3 pounds!        In third with a bag of 15.7 was the team of Bobby Pauley and Steve Deisher. In fourth place with abag of 15.6 was the team of Daniel McClure Ray Scroggins. There was a tie for 5th place between the teams of Matt Foster and Matt Atkins and the team of Taft Durr and Jon Simmons both had bags of 13.960. Just out of the money and winning a pair of new Varitas rods was the team of Jody Thompson and Tony Allgeier.

Our Next tournament will be on 4/12/2025 at Claytor Lake State park.
