Great start for 2025. Friday evening started at the SRM building. They hoisted a wonderful meal. Jeff Hollingshead brought us our devotional. Love was the main topic. We are to love God, ourself, and each other (Matthew 5:44-45). God loves us unconditionally. We are to love the same way. For some is comes easy, others not so easy. Thanks Jeff and SRM.
We then went over rules and drew starting numbers. We had 51 at the meeting with 30 teams to go on Saturday.
Saturday morning we got off to go look for some hungry bass. Weather was good at take off but a windy cold front come in starting around 7:30. The wind never let up and the air got colder. For some it was good, for others it was not. The team of Jeremy Ethridge and Jay Melton took 1st with19.64 and big fish at 4.89. 2nd went to Robert Brownlee and Kent McAfee with 19.38, 3rd was the team of Nick and Ben Hite with 18.01.
Our next stop will be on Old Hickory on March 22. Big thanks to all who fished and helped.
