Event #2 is in the books! 21 teams launched out of Lindsay Bridge this morning with cooler temps and winds from 15-20 mph. The day was sunny and a little breezy but the temps climbed to around 70 degrees making it a beautiful day. Catching keeper bass was a little tougher this month versus last month as only 8 teams brought 5 fish limits to the scales. But it was the team of Kyle Copp and Alex Copp weighed in 15.71lbs. Congratulations to Kyle and Alex on a great win! A very close 2nd Place was the team of Sjuts and Coon, though Brandt Sjuts fished solo and weighed in 15.70lbs. It doesn’t get any closer than that. Brandt did have the Big Bass of the day with a 6.33lb Largemouth earning him the Scheels Big Bass Award of $500 and nice Plaque. 3rd Place was the team of Olsen and Olsen. Grant and Grace Olsen caught a limit of 13.45lbs. Olsens are currently leading the points race by a slim margin. 4th Place was the team of Rahn and Stomberg who weighed in 13.37lbs. After the weigh in one of our anglers Butch Jones shared his testimony with those in attendance. It was a great day of fishing, food and fellowship.
