Congratdulations to our 2017 Point Champs James Matthews and Justin Spoerl. They were consistant all year long. Their 4th place finish in this tournament secured the way for them. They will be awarded plaques and Jackets form our National Office.

Another congrats goes to the winner of our last event. Jerry Dolezal & John Pederson came to the scales with 18.46 lbs. They won $4994.00. They caught there fish in 4 to 6 ft of water using 4 inch Texas rig worms.  2nd place went to Frank Ellison & Kevin Hukill they won $2741.00 using trick worms in 2-4 ft of water. Our 3rd place team was Randy Parks & Steve Terry They were using Texas rig worms in 3 ft of water.

We had 32 limits out of 39 teams. The fish were biting good. The problem was finding any larger ones.

We want to thank Tyler Ford for hosting our meeting. David Irwin smoked us some of his famous Ribs and chicken. There is none better! Thank you David and Tracy Irwin and all of your staff that served us.

Our Chaplain, Chet Brake shared his testimoney with us how God had called him to be a preacher. He wrestled with God for a year before surrendering. He said it was a misrable year, but things have been different in his life ever since. 

I'll be turning the reins over to Matt Hutchins in 2018. I know he will do a great job. I would like to thank my staff for all of the years of faithful service to F.O.M. I could not have done it without them. So thank you guys and gals from the bottom of my heart. My wife Cathy, son D.J., grandsons Tracy & Josh, granddaughter Jordan, Chip, Carla,  Kelby, and Megan MGaughey, Chet & Sarah Brake, Steven & Blake Hurst, Matt, Shanna Hutchins, Michael & Colline Holmes.
