Our first meeing of our team series was held at First Baptist Colbert Heights.  We welcome 51 teams, both old and new, to our meeting.  Many brought their families and we encourage you to bring yours next time.  We were served a meal of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings.  Bro. Seth Hood delivered a thought provoking message and we welcomed one new brother in Christ and several re-dedicated their lives to Christ. 

Saturday was a mix of rain, clouds, and winds but overall weigh-in turned out great.  The weather, along with the changes in fish size, affected some of our teams negatively, but it still took over 16 pounds to bring home some money.  Our big fist weighed 7.11 pounds and went to our first place team.

Our next meeting will be held on 4/14/17 at Hatton Baptist Church, located at 2105 Hatton School Road in Leighton, AL.  Registration will start at 5:30pm and the meal at 6:00 pm.  Late fees will be in effect, so if you are going to mail in your registration, it must be postmarked by 4/7/17.
