Stand Firm!  Alabama Central held our third Friday night meeting at Mt. Hebron W Baptist Church in Elmore. The 75 people present enjoyed a chicken casserole meal.  

Brother Robert Mullins, paster at Mt. Hebron W, brought us a message from 1 Corinthians.  He told us there were some things we cannot do because of who we are. We must live a lifestyle very different from the world. The world preaches all inclusion, but we should follow God’s Word. We must submit body, mind, and spirit to God and be strong and courageous. We should do all things out of love which is sometimes hard to accomplish. There were two professions of faith and one recommitment.

Saturday morning dawned cool and windy and two other tournaments on the water. With about 150 teams out on the water, our 32 teams preservered and brought 153 fish to the scale weighting in at 397.56 pounds. 100% of the fish were released alive. The average fish weight was 2.60 lbs. First place and 1st Bonus Bucks went to the father/son team of Hopper/Hopper with 22.14 lbs. including big bass at 5.02 lbs. Second place and 2nd Bonus Bucks went to the team of Montalbano/Laird with 16.32 lbs. Third place and 3rd Bonus Bucks went to the team of Minor/Morris with 15.84 lbs.
