27 boats competed on Hartwell.

The Friday night meeting was hosted by Cannon Memorial Baptist in Central, and oh, what a fun time we had!!  Anglers got to hang out, getting to know each other and sharing some fish stories.  Then we were served some Chick-fil-A goodies.  I did miss the home cooking, but our friends at Cannon do an OUTSTANDING job when they host FOM.  THANK YOU ALL for your service.

Darren Rood shared a great hit-it-home message with us about "WHERE WE ARE".  It is so important in fishing to be at the right location.  All of us can relate, especially this time of year on Hartwell when the fish are coming up feeding.  Just a few yards can make or break the deal, right?  Darren challenged us to think about our SPIRITUAL location.  "Where are we in our spiritual walk?"  Have YOU ever taken that journey, where you surrendered your heart to Christ?  Do you know Him as your PERSONAL SAVIOR?  Being in the right location with Christ is the MOST important step for all of us to take. 

Several eternal decisions were made, and we thank God for using Fishers of Men to draw people closer to HIM.

Saturday turned out to be a blustery day with the high wind, but it was a great day on the water, nonetheless.  Twenty-seven teams took the field, and all our juniors (and a few adults) were super excited to get things underway.

The TOP 5 teams were as follows:

2nd -  TIED with 8.91 lbs, taking 2nd place and 2nd/3rd Place Bonus Bucks:
