March 4th, 2017 Lake Toho results

Our second tournament of the year went off without a hitch. Our meeting was held at Bass Pro Shops and the great food was provided by Texas Roadhouse. Billy Taylor came through with another great message with a great series we will be enjoying in the future as well, Fisher of Men. Very appropriate! For all the Fishers of Men Central Florida Legacy team members who fished itoday it was a windy one. We had sustained winds of 15-20mph with gusts up to 30 mph at times. This made for an interesting day of fishing. All 8 boats made it out and back in safe and sound. Even though it was tough there's always that team who found em. That team was Chris and Dylan Westhelle. They finished in first place with 12.53 lbs with a big fish of 6.3lbs. Dylan told me he caught their big fish on the second cast of the day, what a way to start your morning. Second place went to Dusty and Corey McDevitt. They had 9.11lbs with big fish of 2.97lbs. Bob Austin and Jonathan Conner wrapped up third place with 4.13lbs. We caught a total of 25 fish weighing in at 40.12lbs. Another tournament without a dead fish, great job to all the anglers. Our next tournament will be on the Clermont chain on April 1, with the meeting site still unknown the Friday before.
