The weather for our first event of 2017 on Lake Shelbyville proved to be a bit misleading. What was a beautiful calm morning turned into a very windy day on the lake. Of our 5 teams competing, two teams did managed to bring in a 5 bag limit of bass. Congratulations to the 1st Place team of Cliff and Zac Brooks with 5 bass going 13.11 pounds, Zac also had the big bass for the event with a nice 3.66 pound bass. The team of Mark Busch and Mike Busch finished in 2nd Place with 5 bass going 12.12 pounds. Marlan and Deb Brown finished in 3rd Place with 1 bass going 2.61 pounds. Thank you to all our teams that participated and a special thanks to Leroy Weakley who just stopped by to check things out but was drafted to take a few photos of the event.
