It was a great day on Lake Shelbyville for our first Legacy tournament of the year. The day began with 6 teams taking off with overcast skies that would later turn mostly sunny and a very slight breeze. A total of 24 fish weighing 56.60 lbs were brought to the scales. 4 of the 6 teams had a 5 fish limit. The team of Dave Doty and Corey Clark, weighed in 4 fish going 12.75 and after a penalty for a dead fish finished in 1st place with 12.5 lbs. The father daughter duo, Jason and Kayla Doty had 5 fish weighing 12.39 in 2nd place. The 3rd place team of Doug and Colton Williams also had 5 fish for a total of 11.52 lbs. James and Andrew Williams weighed in at 10.83 lbs with their 5 fish limit. Chase Tucker and Nathan Doty's 5 fish limit weighed 9.63. We welcomed a new team to our division from Chillicothe and Cecil and Nathan Dickson were awarded "The One That Got Away" and a Bass Pro Gift Card. Big Bass for the day was 5.30 and was brought to the scale by Dave Doty and Corey Clark. Special thanks to our tournament sponsor Precision Builders, Sullivan.
