Are you a witness?  Our speaker brought us a message about being called to be witnesses. Adults should be teaching youth how to witness. As adults we should be preparing the youth for the future where they will be the leaders. The scripture reflects Paul teaching this to Timothy as they traveled together. Your witness is more than just words. There was 1 profession of faith and 3 recommitments.

Our final Legacy meeting was held at Shoal Creek Baptist Church where our 20 teams/45 guests were treated to a wonderful spaghetti meal.

We had a beautiful day for river fishing. The sun was shining but there was a cool breeze. Our 20 teams brought 51 fish to the scale weighting in at 114.89 pounds. First place and 1st bonus bucks went to the team Callins/Callins with 10.84 lbs.  Second place and second bonus bucks went to the team of Cook/Cook 10 lbs, including big fish at 4.66 lbs. Third place went to the team of Hilyer/Hilyer with 9.62 lbs. 4th place team Daniels/Daniels weighed in 8.43 lbs. 5th place team Williams/Williams weighed in 8.38 lbs. 6th place & 3rd bonus bucks went to the team of Hallman/Hallman with 7.99. And rounding out our winners in 7th place was Gibson/Varon with 7.44 lbs. Fisher Staggers was the winner of our weigh-in drawing for a fishing rod.

Our 2018 Points Champions were Gibson and Varon who won the points payout and a slot to the state championship in September.
