Berry and Anderson take the win and $5375 at SC Lowcountry Opener
The SC Lowcountry Division kicked off our 2018 season Friday night at Chapin UMC with 45 teams vying for the $5000 Guaranteed First Place. After a great meal of Chick Fil A sandwiches chips and drinks (Thanks to Steve Arnold and Chick Fil A Ballentyne) the BASS Chaplain Chris Wells brought an inspiring message. Several decision were made!
Saturday morning started out with a 3 hour fog delay which probably hurt several teams early morning bite. But as always someone unlocks the code. George Berry and Sean Anderson brought a limit weighing 19.53 lbs to the scales to clain the victory and 1st place in Bonus Bucks as well pushing their winnings to a whopping $5375
Finishing in 2nd were the winners from last weeks CBC Brodford and Dwight Beavers whose limit tipped the scales at 18.67. They took home $1725. Rounding out the top 3 was the team of Neil and Tim Huffstetler who brought 18.49 to the scales to collect $1150
Other teams in the money were 4th Randall Driggers and Josh McGegor, 5th Kevein Fulmer and Tim Sox, 6th Chris Epting and Johnny Mayer, 7th Barry and Dane Odom, 8th Travis Parrish and Rodney Tapp and 9th Chris and Tucker Veronee who also had the Big Fish of the tournament a 7.70 lb beauty
