We started the weekend out with the great folks at Pittsburg Marine in London Ky. We had some of the best fried fish and all the fixens. After dinner Rick Bramer talked to us about the Truth. He asked us if we knew the truth and didn't speak, is it a lie? Do we know if our fishing partner or good friend has a relationship with Christ? We need to become Fishers of Men, and not be afraid to talk to people about our faith. We had 3 people renew their commitment to Christ.
Saturday morning was calling for 1-3 inches of snow and cold temperatures. The weather held off with just some flurries as all 33 teams blast off in the hopes of bringing in a large limit of fish. The team of Jeff and Jason Lewis caught a 23.46lb sack using spinnerbaits. Second place went to our current points leader Jeff and John Carman with 5 fish weighting 21.05lbs, their fish was caught using spinnerbaits as well. This is the second tournament in a row the Carman brothers have had a 21lb sack of fish. In third place with a weight of 20.83lbs was Pat Eichman and Daniel Smith, their fish was caught using swimbaits and A-rigs. We will have our third tournament on April 28th on Lake Cumberland, hope to see everyone there. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call and don't forget the deadline to avoid a late penalty is April 21st. See you then!
