Wow what a great ending to a fun season. Thanks to Covington Bible Church for a great meal and venue to hold our meeting, we really look forward to coming back to your church for future events.

Our message was very inspring, David Clements gave the message and it really made us think about how to be our best and do our best as christians to live a proper life. It made us think about what are we doing at the place were at to live as God intended us to.

Well we blasted of at 6am on Saturday from Fortney Branch Boat Ramp at Lake Moomaw in Covington Virginia. We had a beautiful blast off. After blast off I was able to ride around and watch a few teams fish during the day. At weigh in the team that proved to be the best for the lake was Nathan Alt and Jeff Camp, bringing in an impressive weight of 13.13 pounds. The team caught the majority of there fish up the main river channel on various baits ranging from Drop Shots to Crank Baits and Shaky Heads, concentrating on the channel swings where the fish were staged up. Congrats to both of you for a great tournament and a big day to end the regular season.

Second Place honors went to Josh and Bill Bailey with a weight of 12.94 pounds, Great finish to the season fellows.

The big bass honors goes to Christopher "Matt" Atkins and his dad Chris Atkins for catching the big bass of the day being a large mouth weighing 4.62 pounds which helped them finish the tournament in 3rd place. Congrats on a great end of the season.

Fourth Place honors went to the team of Richard Alley and Stephen Bishop with a weight of 11.95 pounds. Thanks for hanging around to get your check and congrats on a great end of the season. By the way last years final tournament yall won Big Bass and took a check, it seems your last tournament is your good luck tournament.
