Our third tournament of the year is completed. The Fishers of Men Central Florida Legacy Division launched out of the "revamped" Lake Minneola City boat ramp on the Clermont Chain. We had 12 boats make the trip. We changed it up a bit and had Billy Taylor give our inspirational message before we launched. We avoided all the afternoon boaters comotion and had a nice peaceful meeting with just us. Of coarse we had beautiful weather in the 80's for three weeks in a row except for Saturday, it was 52 with winds of 15-20 mph. As usual, that did not stop us from catching some good bags. BIlly and Ryan Taylor topped the charts with a 15.62lb bag with the season leading big bass of 6.73lbs. Great job guys. Walt and Jonathan Gurgacz rounded out second place with 13.93lbs and also had a nice fish weighing in at 5.50lbs. Third place went to Dave and Bryce DiMauro with 12.37lbs. Fourth place and still our points leaders went to Jason Casteel and Kody Keller with a bag of 9.55lbs. Matt and Jacob Gurgacz also brought a nice fish to the scale with a 5.92lb bass. That was nice of Jacob to let his dad catch that one! Dusty McDevitt and Corey Beckington managed to catch a 6lb catfish to claim biggest trash fish and cash a cool check for $25. A fun time was had by all and I look forward to launching out of Lake Cypress next month. 

The Fishers of Men Legacy Series is an exciting opportunity for both Adult and Junior fisherman to compete for cash, prizes, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Be sure to attend all Pre-Tournament Meetings the Friday night before each tournament where competitors will receive a meal, door prizes and hear an inspirational message. Fifty points are added to each teams standings for attending the meeting. Legacy Tournaments pay out 1 spot per every 3 boats entered and the Bonus Bucks program which offers 100% payback in a 50/30/20 split is OPTIONAL.
