~~Jason Holder and Nathan Crisp win the Ameriprise $2000

The third East Tennessee Fishers of Men was held on Douglas Lake.  With $2000 guarantee first place, there were new teams showing up to take their shot at the grand prize. 
Leadvale Baptist Church was the host church again this year.  The women and men of the church love to host the event every year and we are so thankful for them.  Ginger and the ladies of the church make the best lasagna this side of Italy.  After the awesome meal Pastor Lee Quinn delivered a great message but not before the church’s own group the “Four for the Master” sang so great songs to get everyone in the spirit.
The Ameriprise First place went to the team of Jason Holder and Nathan Crisp, giving them over $2400 in winnings.  This team came to the scales with a 5-fish limit weighing in at 18.09 pounds with the lunker of the tournament a 5.16-pound largemouth bass.  They reported running their Mercury powered Nitro all over the lake to catch their fish on a big spoon and jig from main lake points.  White Pine Marine, Mercury, Nitro Boats, and Dixie Custom Rods and Baits sponsor this team.

 Second place went to the team of Kenny Bishop and Ed Kyte, who brought 15.21 pounds to the scales.  Kenny and Ed had three nice smallmouth in their mixed bag of fish.  This was the first time we have had over one smallmouth weighed in at a tournament.  Kenny and Ed reported catching the mixed bag of bass on Carolina rig and crankbait.
 Third place went to Matt and Bob Coughlin who came to the scales with a nice bag of fish weighing in at 14.47 pounds. 

Fourth place went to went to Eugene Randolph and George Galyon.  This talented team came to the stage with nice bag of fish weighing in at 14.46 pounds.  Eugene and George reported running their Mercury Outboard up the lake to catch their fish.  They used Lunker Lure Rattleback Jigs and top water baits to catch their fish.
