A huge thank you goes out to the folks at Rock-a-Hock campground! They are always such gracious hosts to us and have been supporters of the Team and Legacy series for several yers now. We also are grateful to one of our team members, Steve Roberts who made the donation to cover the meal for our meeting. All the teams were able to fill up on Bojangles Chicken, a sampling of all of their sides and Sweet or Unsweet tea!

Once again David Clowser provided a great performance of some popular worship songs, Then we were provided a great message from team member David Williams. It is always great to hear his perspective and have his guidance on Jesus's love for us and our relationship with our savior, not to mention he alwasys has a great funny story to provide to all in attendance!

Saturday was forcasted to be a hot day for our 31 teams and it certainly was! The fishing didn't quite end up as hot as expected as the fish seemed to be in a strange transition betweeen spawn and Summer patterns, coupled with a low tide most of the day made it pretty tough to get the bigger bites.

Twenty of our teams were able to bring limits to the scales with the Heaviest limit going to the team of Brad Webb and Jay Ferk who had a limit of 15.41lbs, they took home first place and were also first bonus bucks team. they took home over $1500 combined for their days work! Second went to the team of Monte Aleman and Audie Murphy with 14.18lbs they were also second Bonus Bucks team. Third place was the team of Gregory and Zach Meadows with 13.14. Rounding out the money spots including a tie for 6th place were:

4th: Eric Rowe/Eddie Griggs 12.34lbs & 3rd place bonus bucks

5th: Brandon Hill/Kevin King 12.15lbs

6th(t): Kevin Aleman/Michael Franklin 11.83lbs

6th(t): Aaron Fisher/Samuel Fisher 11.83lbs

Big fish of 4.85lbs went to our 8th place team of Bradley Whitfield/David McMichael,who were also first out of the money and took home a pair of Abu Garcia rods.

This was our midway point of the season and it has been fantastic, Our next event is 6/2/2018 out of Whippornock Marina on Lake Chesdin. We will be hosted Friday night by Petersburg First Assembly of God. I want to thank everyone for a great season so far and look forward to our next couple events to close out 2018!
