Welcome to 2018!!

We had 52 teams competing in our OPENING SC UPSTATE Team event on Keowee.

What an AWESOME bunch of guys at Pickens First Baptist Church!!  Thank you all for welcoming the FOM Team Series SC Upstate Division to your church and for serving us a delicious meal.

We also want to give a shout out to our Speaker, Tony Eubanks!!  As always, Tony really drove the message home on how God Loves us SO much.  Thanks to Ben Franklin who helped Tony demonstrate how we need to KEEP OUR EYES on CHRIST!!  Stay focused, and surrender to his direction for your life.

The main reason that we do what we do with FOM is to provide anglers with the opportunity to be presented with the Gospel message, and to invite them to into a relationship with him.  There were 2 anglers that took that step on Friday night.  CONGRATULATIONS!!  Also, eight folks indicated that they wanted to renew their comiitment to Christ.  We count it as an honor to be a part of this ministry and to see how men, women, and families are changed through the work of the Holy Spirit. 

Saturday morning was a little cloudy, but the temperature was quite pleasant.  Our 52 teams were in place and all ready to go before we knew it.  And away we go for our opening event in 2018!!

Keowee sometimes has a Love/Hate relationship with anglers, but there were several teams that seemed to be in good favor today.

The Father/Son team of Mike and Brian Tidwell found there way to muscle up to the top of the pile with a 14.53 lb sack.  Pretty good day on Keowee that gave the family a $3,336 pay day.

Rounding out the top five were:

2-  Kevin Eaves and Morgan Nalley-  12.91 lbs

3-  Chris Coleman and Truett Hill-      11.3 lbs

4-  Robby Hipps and Jim Crider-        11.01 lbs

5-  James Chambers and Ken Cox-  10.95 lbs
