SC Upstate TEAM had 60 boats competing in our 3rd event on Hartwell, 3/31/18.

Bishop Scott King shared some stories and delivered a great meesage that reminded us that the NUMBER one thing is to KNOW CHRIST.  There were 5 renewals of faith.

The meeting was held at the Anderson Farmers Market, hosted by Anderson County.  We had the pleasure of having our friends from Rainbow Baits, Rhodes Silver Spin, Manley, Tightline Rods, and Big Boy Baits there to provide our anglers with products to up their game come tournament time.  THANKS to all those that came out to our Friday night meeting.

Saturday started out a little chilly, but soon transformed into a beautiful day.  We had a joint launch with the SC Upstate LEGACY field of 16 boats.  We hope our Legacy Juniors had a good experience!

There were several 5 PLUS pounders that came across the stage, and some good sacks.  The fishing is great on Hartwell right now, as the big girls are starting to move up to spawn.  

Rounding out the top 3 places were:

1st-   17.52 lbs:  Brian and Nicole Tidwell

2nd-  16.66 lbs:  Russel Clark & Chris Myers

3rd-    15.34 lbs:  TIED__  Chris Rhodes & Reggie Luper / Tray Brown & Seth McClaughlin

BIG FISH-  7.24 lbs:  Tray Brown & Seth McClaughlin
