2018 South Central Region - District 6 Championship
We had 25 boats to blast off at beautiful Lake Ferguson today. It was a little chilly with temps in the mid 40’s. We will be paying out 5 places and the top 6 teams will qualify for the National Championship next April. As always, some teams figure out a pattern. But Saturday usually brings changes at the top. The top 5 teams on Day one are as follows.
1st. Team Jones with 16.64 lbs
2nd. Ross & Graves with 15.19 lbs
3rd. Parker & Morton with 13.34 lbs.
4th. McLendon & Ulmer with 13.11lbs.
5th. McDaniel & Bates with 12.95 lbs
Torrance & Lusk had day one big bass at 4.88 lbs.
So, Stay tuned for Day Two results.
We want to thank The City of Greenville along with The Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau for the use of their building. We had some delicious catfish with all the fixins at our Banquet. Pastor Jim Phillips Men’s group from his church came and cooked the meal on site.
Our Speaker was Pastor Shane McGivney. He preached a very challenging message on Matt. 4:19. He said if we are true followers of Jesus we will fish for men. We had one salvation and 4 recommitted their life to Christ. Amen!
