Leonoard bother win Watts Bar.

The first East Tennessee Fishers of Men Tournament was held on Watts Bar Lake.  We returned to Midway Baptist Church again this year.  We love this church and the members have been so good to all the fishermen and women over the year.  After a great meal everyone went over to the main building where Ronny Jones delivered a great message.
The Ameriprise First place went to the team Tom and Tim Leonard, who came to the scales with a nice bag of bass weighing in at 16.76 pounds.  Their bag of fish also included the tournament’s largest bass that weighed in at 5.69 pounds.  This team reported running their White Pine Marine Boat to the mid-section of beautiful Watts Bar lake to catch their fish.  Tom and Tim stated that they focused on muddy banks.  They used a variety of different lures to catch their fish on this cold day.
 Second place went to the team of Michael Purdue and Christopher Willis.  This team reports staying close to the boat ramp to catch their fish off main lake rocks.   This newly formed team came to the scales with 5 bass weighing in at 12.92 pounds. 

Third place went to the team of Rod Garrett and Paul Rogers.  Rod reported running up the Tennessee River and using a crankbait all day to return to the scales with 12.68 pounds of bass

Fourth place went to went to the husband and wife team of Robert and Rebecca Satterfield who came back with two fish weighing in at 6.89 pounds. 

Fifth place went the team of Eugene Randolph and George Galyon JR who came to the scales with 5.72 pounds of bass.  This team ran up the Tennessee River to catch their fish on crankbaits.
