19 teams competed on Lake HARTWELL on 5/15/21 in the final 2021 SC Upstate LEGACY event.
We were blessed to be able to have a Friday night meeting for this last event. I had almost given up, and then just turned it over to God, and he brought things together JUST IN TIME.
Thanks SO much to Alan McConnel and Crossover Community Church in Anderson for opening up your doors, providing us a meal, and for Gary who shared the Word and part of his testimony.
Gary's message was about Job. There are so many things we can glean from the life of Job. He was a righteous man, that God allowed Satan to do some pretty bad things to; things that probably would make most of us turn our back on God. Job, however did not turn from God. He actually continied to honor and PRAISE him through all that bad stuff and loss. WOW!!! If we just think about the last year, we all can say that it has been tough at times. Some have lost jobs, some have lost the ability to go to school, some have lost loved ones. Now I ask you... Have you turned AWAY from God, or have you turned TOWARD God as a aresult of the circumstances in the last year?
Let me encourage you to take that NEXT step in the direction of God, through his son Jesus.
Our weather Saturday was as picture perfect as we could have asked for. It was a little cool in the morning, but warmed up to be 75 and sunny. A beuatiful day to be on the lake.
